SKYM (pronounced sky-em) is an ERC-20 compatible Smart Token governed by the SKYM organisation. The SKYM token represents the value of geospatial data, namely — satellite, aerial and top-down drone imagery — at a given place in the world.
We have plans to develop a dedicated "proof of stake" (PoS) blockchain for geospatial applications sometime in 2022-23.
SKYM will continue to be the native asset of that future blockchain network and all holders will be able to swap their tokens 1:1
